Модуль: CMS CDN

This module allows for multiple site owners to utilize a single shared domain and CDN for all core JavaScript and CSS files. By serving these shared files from a single domain your end users will gain significant caching as they go from one Drupal site to another.

As an example, rather than serving the /misc/jquery.js file from your local server, or even a private CDN domain after installing this module you're file will be served from:
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.2.6/jquery.min.js

Other core files, that are specific to Drupal will be available based on your version of Drupal which is determined by the module. For example the /misc/drupal.js file will now be served here if you were using version 6.17:
http://j.cmscdn.net/drupal/6.17/misc/drupal.js

This module is meant for moderate traffic sites, with no more than 1,000 pageviews per day. If you would like to use the module on higher traffic sites please contact the module maintainer.

This module is not a replacement for the http://drupal.org/project/cdn module, however can work along side that one if you feel it is necessary.

Tag Sell It is a site the module maintainer runs, and is actively using the module.

This module allows users to (un)publish comments on their own content.

If views is enabled a queue of comments that can be (un)published for a given node will be available at /node/$nid/comment_publish.

This module is similar to the User Comment module in that it allows users some administrative privileges over comments on their content. This module differs though in that it allows publishing as well as unpublishing of comments and does not provide an "administer comment" permission per content type.

Модуль: Block Admin Light

With a lot of theme regions and a lot of blocks to move around, the form at admin/build/block/list/[theme_name] with its javascript tabledrag mechanics can become quite slow in your favorite browser.

Block Admin Light provides a light-weight alternative to this form, with a huge textarea instead of the tabledrag element. You can move blocks around by moving the rows of the textarea.

As a bonus, blockadminlight will detect your cursor position (using the 3rd party jquery.caret.js plugin), and display controls and information for currently "selected" block. Such as: Edit this block, edit this menu (for core menu blocks and contrib menu_block), edit this view (for views blocks). You can write plugins to show useful links for blocks defined by any module.

Server side / connection:
- Shorter page build time.
- Smaller file size for the delivered html page.

Client side performance:
- Reduced complexity of the html document: No big tables, no separate form elements for each block.
- Less work for the javascript engine: No tabledrag.

Other benefits:
- Easier migration/deployment of the blocks configuration, by simple copy+paste.
- Block weights / positions can be edited in a texteditor.
- Can be restricted with permissions.

Two "Subscription" products are created:

a free subscription which might give users access to some example/sample/demo content on the site. a paid subscription which gives more access, and also processes a credit card and creates a monthly recurring fee. (Paypal Website Payments Pro only at this time)

Setting up these features using Ubercart is very complicated and this Features-based module can get you going very quickly with *most* of what you'll need to create a site like this.

Тема оформления: Midnight

Midnight is a new theme that is mainly geared towards blogging. It has a user information bubble available for nodes and comments where information displayed is dependent on permissions like access profiles, access comments, display post information, etc. It comes with the option for two sidebars or just one. Both are displayed to the right of the content. It provides a default user picture unless something else is provided. The navigation is a region. There is also a region within the node, and a region below the content above the footer for whatever you can think to put there.

This theme also utilizes the 2.x-dev version of the Skinr module. This is optional but recommended because of the features it makes available. Some of which are:

Two "Subscription" products are created:

The Evanced Events Importer module integrates features from Evanced Solutions' Events calendar product in to your Drupal site.

This module imports data from Evanced Events' built-in EXML feed to create nodes for each published event. When the Evanced Events calendar is updated in Evanced Events and cron is run in Drupal, the module keeps the events in sync using the ID assigned to each event.

With this module installed you can continue to use Evanced Events as a stand-alone product to create events, manage event registration, record attendance statistics, run reports and manage room reservations (in conjunction with Room Reserve), but you can also take advantage of all the power of CCK and Views to create multiple displays of your events across your website.

Тема оформления: Opengrid Academica

Academica originally developed by the people of Proud themes for Wordpress and published on Smashing Magazine, was ported to Drupal using Opengrid as base theme.

The theme was developed for Educational and Non-Profit organizations, which I think, is a good niche for Drupal themes as there are not that large a variety of quality free themes in this high demand sector.

The main features of the theme were mostly reproduced using features that exists by default in the Opengrid base theme, but others were created specially for this case.

Main Features.

Front Page Slideshow:

Jquery Cycle plugin was use to achieve the slideshow, is a great plugin with several options for effects.

Images must be saved in the slideshow folder, that is placed inside the images folder of the theme, finally from the theme settings page is possible to configure:

Enabled or Disabled the slideshow box List which images to show Settings for the size of the slideshow box.

Main Navigation Dropdown:

This is activated by default in the theme. Remember to set as expandable the items of the main navigation from the menu settings page.

Модуль: Linked Data

This is an integration module for bringing Linked Open Data into a Drupal site. It provides a basic facility to create Linked Data queries and provides a variety of ways to theme the results of those queries. What this means is that now you can dynamically include curated content from sites like DBpedia, Freebase, Data.gov, Data.gov.uk, CrunchBase, GeoNames, MusicBrainz, BBC Programmes and Music (to name a few) into your site.

The module currently supports SPARQL and MQL queries. These queries can either be static for specific resources or allow for variable substitution to create dynamic queries. It is also integrates with CTools Export UI so it can provide exportable queries.

Модуль: Smart IP

Smart IP identify visitor's geographical location (longitude/latitude), country, region, city and postal code based on the IP address of the user. These information will be stored at Drupal $user->data object with array key 'geoip_location' upon login of the user but optionally it can be disabled at Smart IP admin page. Other modules can use the function smart_ip_get_location($ip_address) that returns an array containing the visitor's ISO 3166 2-character country code, longitude, latitude, region code (FIPS), city and postal code. It provides a feature for you to perform your own IP lookup and admin spoofing of an arbitrary IP for testing purposes.

Maxmind's database is the source of Smart IP database that makes the association between IP address and geographical location (longitude/latitude), region, city and postal code. It can be found at http://www.maxmind.com/app/geolitecountry it has two versions: a very accurate and up to date payable version and a not quite accurate free lite version. Smart IP downloads and process the CSV files (GeoLiteCity-Location.csv and GeoLiteCity-Blocks.csv) to store to Smart IP database. An optional once a month (Maxmind updates its database every first day of a month) automatic update of the Smart IP database is provided or it can be manually updated at Smart IP admin page. The database of Maxmind is very huge, the two CSV files size is about 150MB and the size when stored to SQL database is about 320MB with almost 5 million rows. The process of downloading the archived CSV files from Maxmind's server, extracting the downloaded zip file, parsing the CSV files and storing to the database will took more or less five hours. It uses the batch system process. If interrupted by an unexpected error, the administrator can manually continue and recover from where it stopped at Smart IP admin page.

Модуль: Growl Notifications

Growl notifications is a module which provides a method for sending certain system notifications to a Growl server. This means that you can receive Drupal messages on your computer through Growl.

More usefully, a module to provide a Messaging sending method is provided which allows Drupal sites to push notifications to listening Growl computers. This is particularly useful for Open Atrium based sites on an Intranet where Bonjour machine names or static IP address are known. Instead of receiving email notifications you can now receive Growl notifications.

This module is heavily based on the Prowl Push Notifications module by acrollet. It uses code provided by Tyler Hall under the MIT licence (compatible with Drupal's GPL) which is included in the module.

Status

The module is in its infancy and I plan to work on the notifications part of it to make sure its as compatible with Open Atrium as possible. If you have any ideas of how to improve please let me know.
